The course requires good familiarity with the basic elements of business strategy, organization theory and the main concepts linked to cost structures
Learning outcomes:
- Knowledge and understanding of the main marketing concepts, including but not limited to:
the role and the importance of marketing in the society
The meaning of segmentation, targeting and positioning
The 4Ps
- Being able to identify and appraise a company's marketing strategy
- Being able to formulate a coherent marketing strategy based on a deep understanding of a company's strategic key factors and its macro environment
- Developing critical and analytical thinking and consequently being able to read real life situations using theoretical and conceptual tools, and conversely translate such tools in real life decisions
