Nicola Franchetto – Managing Partner

Partner of ICT Legal Consulting graduated in Law from the University of Trento. An IT technician, certified Data Protection Officer (TUV) and (ECPC – Maastricht University, NL), he is also Lead Auditor ISO 27001:2013 (Bureau Veritas), ISO 27701:2019 and Lead Auditor EuroPrivacy, confirming the role of “middle man” between legal needs and highly complex ICT issues. 

He won the Oxford University Press Law Prize as the best Erasmus student at the University of Lancaster (UK) and obtained an LL.M in IT & IP Law (magna cum laude) from the University of Leibniz in Hannover (DE) and Strathclyde University in Glasgow (UK).

He provides legal advice on IT contracts, e-commerce, cloud computing, e-marketing, advertising and data tracking technologies in mobile applications, privacy and personal data protection to European agencies (under EU-funded projects) particularly in the fields of luxury, banking and BI providers, energy, automotive and connected vehicles, major electronic device and pharmaceutical manufacturers; electronic communications providers and award-winning mobile applications.

An IT IT technician, qualified lawyer at Verona Bar Association and member of Federprivacy, he teaches courses and lectures on personal data processing. He is fluent in English.
